Designation: Dynamo Specialist/BIM Automation Engineer

Job Description:
We have a vacancy for a Dynamo Specialist/Automation Engineer with proven experience. Ideally, such an expert is a wizard in generating and optimizing scripts with Dynamo on workflows and process improvement in a Building Information Modeling environment. It maximizes efficiency of the projects involved, avoids mistakes, enhances collaboration and coordination, and thus brings out positive communications among designers and contractors.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop the customized Dynamo scripts to automate all repetitive operations in multiple BIM applications, including Revit. Optimize the scripts in terms of performance, efficiency, and accuracy in delivery.
Identify the relevant spaces in BIM workflows where automation can enhance productivity through streamlining complex modeling, documentation, and coordination involving various tools and solutions.
Integrate the workflow created within Dynamo to other platforms, such as Python, C#, or APIs, to expand functionality. Work on interoperability solutions between Revit, Navisworks, Civil 3D, and all other BIM tools.
Train the people and clients regarding Dynamo scripts as well as workflow automation. Follow up for seamless implementation and adaption of automatic tools.
Use Dynamo to delete, edit and manipulate BIM data for reports and analysis Provide graphical reports as well as create dashboards where insights about the respective project are highlighted using Dynamo together with any applicable tool
Script testing using as much testing that can be done ensuring reliability and functionality of different kinds of BIM models and Workflows. Debug the issues on concerns with respect to the automation flow.
Collaborate effectively with architects, engineers, and project managers to understand the needs of the project and deliver the customized solution about automation. Detailed documentation of all Dynamo scripts and workflows developed.
Qualifications:
A bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, or another related field. Proficient with Autodesk Revit and Dynamo. Knowledge of the Python, C# programming languages and scripting for automation in BIM. Familiarity with other BIM tools including Navisworks, Civil 3D, and AutoCAD. Strong analytical ability with an eye for detail. Good communication skills to train staff and present ideas clearly.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years in Dynamo script development and automation of BIM. History of implementing automated workflows in architectural, structural, or MEP BIM projects. Implementation of Dynamo workflow with the larger process of the project. Exposure to APIs as well as their advanced manipulation Familiarity with parametric and computational design workflow.
