Job Description:
We are searching for an ambitious and experienced BIM Coordinator to join our high-performing team. As a BIM Coordinator, you would be involved in ensuring smooth coordination, management, and implementation of BIM processes for several construction projects. You would work closely with architects, engineers, contractors, and other project stakeholders to drive efficiency and workflow improvements while maintaining BIM standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage BIM models for architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines. Ensure accuracy and consistency of 3D models and BIM data at all stages of the project. Clash detection and coordination by using Navisworks or BIM 360.
Coordinate closely with design teams, contractors, and other project stakeholders to establish BIM execution plans Facilitate interdisciplinary model coordination meetings. Act as a liaison between the design team and field operations for BIM-related tasks.
Conduct quality checks to comply with company BIM standards and project requirements. Provide feedback to design teams on how to improve BIM models for constructability. Ensure regular updates of the models and represent the most recent design changes.
Training and mentoring the project teams about BIM processes and software tools. Support the development and implementation of BIM standards, workflows, and templates. Keep abreast of industry trends and suggest improvements to BIM workflows.
Produce and keep up-to-date detailed BIM documentation, for example, BEPs, clash detection reports, and model health reports. Assure that all project deliverables meet the expectations of the clients and are provided within the timelines.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in architecture, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field
Advanced proficiency with BIM software, including Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, and BIM 360.
Practical knowledge of the construction processes, building systems, and industrial standards such as ISO 19650
Excellent problem-solving ability, analytical and organizational
Strong communication skills with interpersonal behavior
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of experience in BIM Coordinators and related positions in the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) Industry Exposure to clash detection model coordination, and execution planning using BIM. Other BIM software knowledge such as Tekla, Archi-CAD or Dynamo Large-scale construction or infrastructure projects management experience. Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM and project lifecycle management.
