Job Description:
We seek an experienced BIM Modeler for Architecture, Structure, or MEP disciplines. Our ideal candidate would have knowledge about the production of accurate Building Information Models, coordinate designs, and ensure all products meet the expected industry standards. This position ensures that coordination occurs between the teams of design, construction, and engineering so as to guarantee smooth project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Detailed and accurate models of the architectural, structural, or MEP disciplines are to be developed in Autodesk Revit. Coordinate 3D Models, Shop Drawings, and Construction Documentation
Work closely with architects, engineers, and project managers for accuracy and compliance to project requirements. Clash detection and resolution involving tools such as Navisworks and BIM 360. Adheres to Customer Specific Standards, Company Guidelines, and Industry Best Practices.
Collect data from sources like AutoCAD, PDFs, point clouds into BIM workflows. Obtain quantity takeoff and scheduling directly from the BIM models to enable better cost estimation and project planning.
Inspect for accuracy, consistency, and completeness of the model. Locate and correct model issues and workflows
Collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams for the resolution of design and construction conflicts. Innovate new workflows and make recommendations to improve model efficiency and output quality.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Diploma in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar. Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks, and BIM 360 skills. Industry-standard AIA, NBS, or ISO BIM Standards knowledge. Good attention to detail; reads architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Effective communication for working effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Experience:
3+ years of experience as a BIM Modeler in Architecture, Structural, or MEP disciplines. Experience in working on medium to large-scale commercial, residential, or industrial projects. Knowledge of other BIM-related software like Tekla, Dynamo, Rhino, or SketchUp is a plus. Familiarity with point cloud data integration and Scan-to-BIM workflows. Experience with clash detection, 4D simulation, or parametric design.
